The Art of First Impressions
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is capturing the invitation suite. I think of it as the first page of your wedding album, drawing you into the story of your day. Empress Stationery crafted an exquisite letter-pressed suite featuring a hand-drawn etching of the venue, setting the tone for a sophisticated and deeply personal celebration. I love using loose blooms from the florist to incorporate the color palette into these detail shots, immersing you in the essence of the day from the very first glance at the invitations.
A Venue Steeped in Timeless Elegance
Nestled in the heart of Ridley Creek State Park, Parque Ridley Creek feels like stepping back in time. Surrounded by thousands of acres of natural lands, this historic estate exudes the opulence and grace of a bygone era. With its manicured lawns, towering trees, and serene reflecting pond, the venue offers a blissful retreat. The stone walls and oak paneling inside carry an old-world charm that sets the perfect stage for a wedding steeped in elegance and history.
A Vision of Classic Elegance
Andrea’s Anne Barge dress was a vision of classic elegance, with a timeless silhouette and intricate detailing that perfectly matched the venue’s grandeur. Her hair and makeup, styled by True Beauty Marks, enhanced her natural beauty, giving her an effortlessly elegant and free-flowing look. Capturing her serene confidence and radiant joy as she prepared for her big day was truly a delight.
Bringing Nature Indoors
BeLovely’s floral arrangements were nothing short of spectacular. They brought the outside in by draping vines organically throughout the reception space, creating an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a forgotten mansion overtaken by nature. Andrea’s bouquet, filled with lush greenery and delicate blooms, looked as though it had been gathered from the verdant surroundings of the estate. This natural, organic style seamlessly blended with the venue’s historic charm, making every floral detail a part of the venue’s story.
Vows Amidst Verdant Beauty
Andrea and Scott exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony, framed by the estate’s picturesque stone archways and lush gardens. As they promised their lives to each other, surrounded by nature’s beauty and the love of their closest friends and family, it was a moment of pure joy and serenity.
A Culinary and Visual Feast
Peachtree Catering outdid themselves with a menu that was nothing short of restaurant quality. Guests enjoyed a variety of delectable dishes that were as beautifully presented as they were delicious. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and joyous celebration as Andrea and Scott, along with their guests, danced the night away.
A Day of Unforgettable Beauty
This wedding at Parque Ridley Creek was a perfect blend of historic elegance and natural beauty. From the exquisite details of the stationery to the lush floral arrangements and the joyous celebration, every element came together to create a day that was both timeless and unforgettable. Every moment of this stunning wedding was a joy to capture. With a blend of fine art photography and photojournalism, I aimed to tell a story of love, elegance, and timeless beauty. Capturing Andrea and Scott’s love story against the backdrop of this historic venue was an absolute honor, and I am so grateful to have been a part of their beautiful day.
