I'm Emily Wren
I took an early interest in photography thanks to my father, a passionate amateur photographer who was constantly documenting our family. I can remember spending hours pouring over old photo albums, captivated by the magic of feeling transported into the past. I became fascinated with the way a photo can tell a story, framing our memories and shaping the way we see the world.
I pursued my love for image-making at The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Since then my wedding photography has been featured in many publications, including Martha Stewart Wedding Magazine, The Knot Magazine, Philadelphia Weddings and Style Me Pretty. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2008, and since 2012 I have focused my efforts on weddings. I've had the pleasure of creating many meaningful relationships with my couples, often continuing to document their families as they grow.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me spending time with my husband Gregg and our two beautiful daughters, Avalene & Isla, enjoying intimate gatherings with friends and family, and seeking inspiration in nature.

Meet Gregg
Hi, I’m Gregg! Emily Wren’s husband, business partner, and the man behind Wren Films. In addition to being a wedding videographer, I’m a musician and audio engineer. I have been making movies since I got my hands on my first VHS camera as a kid, and I’ve been combining music with visuals ever since.
Artistically, I have always been fascinated by the way people move through the world - the subtle ways that couples communicate with body language, or the gentle sway of a dress. I think of the movement of the camera as a dance, following the flow of my subjects, anticipating motion, and capturing the unique beauty of what I see.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me in my music studio writing songs, playing pickup sports, and goofing around with our daughters Avalene & Isla. Put me in the woods around a campfire, or on a hike through beautiful nature, and I’m a happy guy.
