Parque’s Hunting Hill Mansion sits at the heart of Ridley Creek State Park. Nestled amidst thousands of acres of natural lands, the estate truly feels as though it exists in a bygone era of opulence and grace. The grounds are blissfully serene— manicured lawns, towering cedars, and a still as glass reflecting pond. The interior carries that essential old-world charm with its stone walls and oak paneling. When the team at Parque asked me if I would collaborate on a styled shoot at their remarkable venue, I jumped at the opportunity to transport myself to that extraordinary age of elegance!
An exquisite venue requires exquisite details. Christy from Papertree studio designed a bespoke invite suite with ivory handmade paper, silver calligraphy and intricate wax seals. Lauren Priori provided with a resplendent set of rings— ice-blue aquamarine, warm peach sapphire, striking watermelon tourmaline, and a milky white moonstone! A Garden Party designed two lovely bouquets. One with porcelain white blooms, dense greenery, and a velvety sage air plant, and one with supple succulents and fresh eucalyptus surrounded by cornflower blue and amethyst flowers. Aleksandra Ambrozy styled each of our model’s so that their hair and makeup worked to complement each of the very different gowns we received from Lovely. From soft and bohemian, bold and glamour, to vintage and romantic, each look worked beautifully against in the dramatic setting. Peachtree Catering provided sparkling champagne cocktails and a feast of hors devours and plates that was as visually pleasing as it was delicious!
Parque is the perfect setting for couples looking to escape the world of today for something a bit grander, something they’ve only ever dreamed of. The day I spent at Hunting Hill Mansion felt like I was a part of a 19th-century romance and I can’t wait to go back!
