After postponing their wedding from last June to this June, Katie & Ashley were finally able to celebrate with their friends and family at the Willow Creek Winery in Cape May, New Jersey. These two brides pulled off the wedding they had long been anticipating, filled with love, laughter and light. I couldn’t be happier that my associate Sara was there to capture their incredible day. 

Katie and Ashley started the day getting ready with their wedding party in a gorgeous rental home right by the beach, and an effortless summery vibe flowed through all of their wedding details like an ocean breeze. A lively pop of pink was a consistent design element throughout, starting with mix and match bridesmaid's dresses. A Garden Party florist kept that aesthetic by creating colorful summer bridal bouquets and ombre pink bridesmaid bouquets for the wedding party. 

Katie & Ashley’s first look on the beach was full of sweetness and excitement. Spending that time together taking portraits before the festivities kicked off felt like a way to savor the peace and connectedness they feel in each other's company. 

Their guests gathered under a large tent for their outdoor ceremony. Keeping with their bright, joyful aesthetic, they married in front of a modern metal arch with flowers flowing from a white to pink variant from top to bottom. After a heartfelt ceremony, guests moved to the lovely ballroom space to eat, drink, and snap polaroid pictures for Katie & Ashley’s custom and personal guest book. During the reception, friends and family shared loving tributes to the brides and their relationship, and this loving energy led to a lively dance floor! The music was on point, with guests enjoying a live band decked out Eagles gear, a nod to the brides’ favorite Philly sports team. At the end of the evening, everyone was gifted a delicious cabernet sauvignon from the venue’s own collection to enjoy! 

Katie & Ashley's gorgeous Cape May wedding, so full of love and consideration, is one we won't soon forget. The love that these two share is inspiring and it was an honor to witness their wedding day.
