This magical feeling was balanced by Blake & CJ’s embrace of the classics. From their stately choice of venue on the banks of the Schuylkill river, to their elegant personal style, Blake & CJ are a couple who feel timeless, and grounded in each other's love. Toasts from their friends and families emphasized the kindness and loyalty of the pair--two qualities that never go out of style-- and I loved that Gregg included some of CJ & Blake’s welcome speech! It is so moving to hear in people’s voices how much it means to be able to celebrate with their family & friends, and CJ & Blake were so audibly happy to share their unforgettable day with the people who love them.

It can be a challenge to edit down a day full of so many cinematic moments, but I love that Gregg ended with CJ & Blake together out on the pavilion, embracing as the sky turned crimson and purple, and the lights on the pavilion started twinkling! Weddings can be full of so much elation and excitement that there’s something special about stealing a moment away to take a breath, and appreciate the love that brought you to this day!

With his background in music, Gregg is a practiced collaborator and improviser. On Blake & CJ’s wedding day, he found an amazing partner in the dramatic April wind! I love the way Gregg’s film captures the beauty of this dance, where the wind lifts everything it touches-- from the gauzy fabrics to Blake’s cascading hair! It felt like a metaphor for the entire day: Blake & CJ & their nearest and dearest were floating on air!
