From the very first glimpse of their bespoke invitation suite—floral-lined, gilded, and illustrated with watercolor renderings of the venues—you knew this day would be one to remember. Nikki & Sav’s luxurious Greek wedding at The Union League of Philadelphia was the very definition of a modern-day fairytale: regal, romantic, and steeped in both family and tradition.

A Meaningful Morning and a Timeless Gown
Nikki spent the beginning of the wedding day surrounded by her closest friends and family, savoring moments with her mom, who had been her partner in planning every detail of the day. Slipping into her sparkling ball gown was a moment they shared together, a quiet milestone after months of preparation.
Afterward, Nikki took a moment for a sneak peek with her bridesmaids, soaking in the excitement with her best friends. She also shared a private first look with her father and brother—small, meaningful pauses in a day that was quickly taking on a life of its own.

A First Look Filled with Cascading Florals
Nikki & Sav shared their first look on the grand marble staircase of The Union League, framed by cascading florals and the soft flicker of candlelight. As Nikki made her way down the steps, her gown sparkled in the ambient glow. The moment Sav turned to see her, everything else seemed to fade. It was quiet, tender, and full of meaning—just the two of them in a world of their own.
After the first look, we headed to the Merchants Exchange Building for portraits. The neoclassical architecture, with its sweeping marble steps and timeless stone columns, provided the perfect canvas for Nikki’s glittering Pnina Tornai gown, which was adorned with thousands of hand-sewn sequins and pearls. The silhouette of her dress was both regal and current: a romantic ball gown with a structured bodice, delicate bow, and a sweeping train that sparkled with every step. Against the historic backdrop, she looked statuesque—elegant and ethereal, like a modern-day Greek goddess.

A Ceremony Steeped in Greek Tradition
Held in the ornate St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the ceremony honored their Greek heritage with timeless symbolism. The crowning ceremony, featuring the ceremonial stefana joined by a white ribbon, signified the unity of their souls and the beginning of their life as one. As they sealed their vows with a kiss, an unexpected surprise filled the sanctuary: an a cappella choir serenaded them from the choir loft, their harmonies guiding the couple down the aisle in a moment that felt utterly cinematic.

The Lincoln Hall at The Union League Transformed
Every detail of this luxurious Greek wedding at The Union League of Philadelphia was thoughtfully chosen. For their reception, Nikki & Sav completely reimagined The Lincoln Hall at The Union League of Philadelphia. White draping softened the room’s traditionally dark wood paneling, while a seamless white dance floor, stamped with their gold monogram, brightened the space.
Petals Lane brought the couple’s floral vision to life with towering cherry blossom branches and lush arrangements in soft blush, ivory, and pale pink. Flickering candlelight glowed through sculptural acrylic candelabras, adding warmth and height to the design. Behind the sweetheart table, an elegant floral installation framed the couple in blooms all evening.
And the cake—oh, the cake! Over three feet tall and detailed with sculpted sugar florals. In a thoughtful design choice, it was placed on a mirrored table in the center of the reception, surrounded by guest tables and just behind the sweetheart table. It became a clear focal point of the room, drawing attention throughout the night.
Throughout the planning process, they worked closely with Gina Sole, whose expert coordination ensured the entire day unfolded seamlessly. She was the backbone of the celebration—silently orchestrating each moment so the couple and their families could be fully present.
The evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches, traditional Greek dancing, and the joyful money dance. But it was Nikki’s first dance with her father to Beauty and the Beast that truly brought the point home: Nikki wasn’t just the bride—she was, undeniably, a modern day princess.
It was a day filled with love, tradition, and unforgettable beauty—each moment thoughtfully crafted and joyfully celebrated. From beginning to end, Nikki & Sav’s luxurious Greek wedding at The Union League of Philadelphia was a true modern-day fairytale: timeless, heartfelt, and steeped in the kind of magic that only comes from family, culture, and the deepest kind of love.
