I am extremely honored to have Kelsey & Andrew’s wedding featured in Modern Luxury Weddings!

Kelsey and Andrew’s wedding was a masterclass in cohesive design, thanks to the brilliant vision of Arielle Fera Events. From start to finish, the day felt like an effortless garden party, brought to life by a vibrant floral theme that ran through every element. Having photographed their engagement session at Appleford Estate the previous fall, it was wonderful to reconnect with them in the same place and see their wedding plans come to life. From the dried florals adorning cocktails to the custom floral chargers at each place setting, and Kelsey’s stunning floral-embroidered Monique Lhuillier gown, the wedding was a celebration of nature’s beauty.

A Ceremony Filled with Love and Meaning

Before the reception, Kelsey and Andrew exchanged vows in a deeply personal ceremony at Saint Elizabeth’s in Chester Springs, the church where their lifelong journey began. Their love story dates back to kindergarten when they grew up as next-door neighbors and attended school together. This shared history made the ceremony even more meaningful, as it took place in the church they both grew up attending. The significance of exchanging vows in such a familiar and cherished space added emotional depth to the day. With the warm glow of light streaming through the stained glass windows, every glance and smile between Kelsey and Andrew was filled with the weight of a love that had grown from childhood friendship into lifelong commitment. Surrounded by family and friends who had watched their relationship unfold over the years, the ceremony was both intimate and deeply moving.

Portraits in the Secluded Gardens of Appleford Estate

Appleford Estate’s grounds provided an ideal setting for Kelsey and Andrew’s garden party-inspired wedding, offering a mix of natural beauty and classic architecture that made photographing their portraits a pleasure. The estate’s boxwood maze and rose garden, nestled into the property’s landscape, created a private and intimate environment for their portraits. The historic stone paths, tranquil water features, and lush greenery of the estate framed each shot in a way that felt organic and unforced, allowing the space to truly shine without overwhelming the subjects. The venue’s versatility really elevated the entire portrait session, providing endless opportunities to play with light, depth, and the surrounding landscape.

Evening Reception Details

The reception was a true collaboration between Kelsey and Andrew’s vision, Arielle Fera Events’ expert planning, and the extraordinary floral designs by Twisted Willow Flowers. Appleford Estate’s lush gardens provided the ideal backdrop for Twisted Willow’s breathtaking arrangements, which featured an array of dahlias, garden roses, and wildflowers. These vibrant blooms cascaded across tables and were suspended from the ceiling in a stunning floral installation, bringing the outdoor beauty inside and creating a seamless, garden-inspired aesthetic. Twisted Willow’s thoughtful attention to detail was woven throughout the day, enhancing the natural charm of the estate and making each moment feel cohesive and intentional.

Every place setting was meticulously designed, with custom floral chargers from White Glove Rentals—so beloved that they are now known as “Kelsey’s Chargers” on the White Glove’s website. The floral elements carried through each aspect of the evening, reinforcing the day’s natural, garden-inspired theme.

The reception balanced elegance with a touch of playful fun. Guests enjoyed a bespoke dual-bar experience—one side featuring a modern Vodka Redbull bar, the other offering classic cocktails and champagne. In keeping with their personal style, Kelsey and Andrew created a custom cocktail menu with names inspired by meaningful moments in their relationship, offering guests a taste of their story while they mingled under the stars.

The day concluded in a celebration that perfectly reflected Kelsey and Andrew’s shared vision—intimate, elegant, and brimming with personal touches. From the carefully curated florals by Twisted Willow Flowers to the seamless coordination by Arielle Fera Events, every detail came together to create an unforgettable experience for both the couple and their guests. The garden-inspired theme, carried through the ceremony, portraits, and reception, felt effortlessly cohesive, making the day feel both thoughtful and natural. As the sun set over Appleford Estate, the night came alive with laughter, music, and joyful celebration, a fitting end to a day that was truly a reflection of Kelsey and Andrew’s unique love story and the timeless beauty of the setting they chose to celebrate it in.
