Re & Kelly’s glam garden wedding at Tyler Gardens was the perfect blend of modern style and timeless romance. Held on a sun-drenched day in early May, their celebration was layered with fashion-forward details, lush florals, and thoughtful design—bringing a fresh, contemporary energy to the historic garden setting. From the very beginning, Musa Weddings worked closely with the couple to craft a vision that felt personal, intentional, and utterly transportive.

A Garden Steeped in History

Nestled on the grounds of the historic Bucks County Community College, Tyler Gardens is one of the region’s true hidden gems—a striking example of Gilded Age architecture and Beaux-Arts landscape design. Originally built in the 1930s as part of the Tyler Estate, the gardens were modeled after the great European estates, with terraced stone paths, classical sculptures, and dramatic fountains.

For Re & Kelly, it was the perfect canvas for their glam garden wedding at Tyler Gardens. The structured hedges, marble staircases, and layered garden levels brought a sense of understated drama—providing a seamless blend of history and natural beauty. Thoughtfully curated by Open Aire Affairs, the celebration flowed effortlessly through the venue’s elegant three-tiered layout, offering a setting that felt at once timeless and modern.

For the very first time, Tyler Gardens opened its mansion interiors for both the getting ready suite and cocktail hour, allowing the day to move seamlessly through the estate’s storied spaces. The ornate getting ready room—with its gilded moldings, velvet drapery, and statement chandeliers—offered the perfect backdrop for the morning. Every detail felt polished and intentional, setting the tone for a day that was equal parts style and substance.

Ceremony with Glamour & Grace

Set in front of Tyler Gardens’ iconic stone fountain, the ceremony design was clean and sculptural—built around a palette of ivory, crisp white, soft nude, and gold, with subtle black accents for contrast. Towering floral arrangements on modern stands framed the altar, adding height and depth without distracting from the surrounding gardens. Guests were welcomed with champagne displayed on a sleek gold shelving unit, layered with bold florals and candlelight—a polished and inviting first impression.

Re & Kelly’s story, like many modern couples, began on a dating app. But during the ceremony, they shared the playful “meet cute” they like to tell instead: a chance encounter over the perfect avocado at Whole Foods, where a brush of hands turned into a conversation about guacamole. That same mix of humor and genuine connection came through in every moment of their day—effortless, fun, and entirely their own.

Just the Two of Them: A Portrait Session Filled with Presence

Re & Kelly chose not to do a first look, saving that moment for the ceremony—and the emotional high that followed was unmistakable. With no bridal party and only a handful of family photos, we had the rare opportunity to slip away and focus solely on the two of them while everything still felt fresh and full. Their joy was palpable, their connection effortless, and every frame reflected that quiet in-between space where celebration meets intimacy.

Re had shared before the wedding how much she dislikes being photographed and how rarely she feels like herself in photos. But during their portrait session, it felt as though the camera disappeared. She and Kelly were completely wrapped up in one another—focused, connected, fully present.

From behind the lens, I watched their connection revel itself in the quietest, most natural ways. The way they held hands, the way their eyes locked, the way their energy moved between them—it all felt deeply intimate and unselfconscious. The images we created together reflect that honesty and ease. They aren’t just portraits; they’re moments suspended in time, full of authenticity and heart.

Where Glamour Met the Garden

As the sun slipped behind the gardens, guests stepped into a reception space that felt entirely transportive. What began as a classic white tent was transformed into something dreamlike, thanks to the vision of Musa Weddings. Layers of billowing ivory drapery softened the structure, creating the sense of stepping into an ethereal cocoon. The fabric moved gently with the breeze, catching the glow of crystal chandeliers and casting a romantic light across the entire space.

At the heart of the tent, a high-gloss silver dance floor by Go To Shout offered a mirror-like surface that not only reflected the candlelight and chandeliers but also beautifully echoed the couple as they swayed together during their first dance. Photographing that moment—Re & Kelly illuminated from above, their reflections beneath them—felt like capturing something suspended between dream and reality.

Guests entered through a welcoming lounge styled with mirrored accents, plush seating, and a sculptural floral installation by The Collection by Musa and Fresh Designs Florist, setting the tone for the evening’s blend of elegance and intimacy. Reception tables—both round and rectangular—were dressed in specialty linens and styled with gold chargers, delicate tassel-tied menus, and gold Chiavari chairs.

Florals, masterfully designed by Fresh Designs Florist, were a true showpiece of the reception. Fresh Design’s artistry brought a natural softness and sculptural beauty to the tent, transforming each table into its own moment of wonder. Arrangements ranged from lush, low designs surrounded by the glow of taper candles to breathtaking cascading florals that poured from modern acrylic candelabras—like vines spilling over a trellis, both wild and refined.

The cascading pieces, in particular, felt like living art—drawing the eye upward and outward, adding drama without heaviness. They created a sense of movement and romance that echoed through the space, mirroring the flowing drapery above and grounding the glamour with garden-inspired grace. Each floral installation was perfectly balanced elevating the entire visual experience of the tent and inviting guests deeper into the moment.

At the center of it all, a cake by Amy’s Creative Cakes shimmered with hand-laid gold leaf atop a sleek gold pedestal—a sweet and sculptural ending to a space designed with intention, romance, and wonder.

A Celebration to Remember

It was a glam garden wedding at Tyler Gardens that felt both effortless and elevated—where style met substance, and every detail reflected Re & Kelly’s vision. The perfect balance of cool sophistication and natural beauty, this was a celebration that felt as fresh and modern as it was heartfelt.
