Tulum, Mexico was the perfect destination for this LGBTQ couple’s bold tropical wedding vision to come to life. Mari & Jan are both designers and blended their two aesthetics into what Jan describes as, “a modern gay disco oasis nestled in the heart of the jungle”.
The wedding featured a contemporary color palette with bold colors and monochromatic black details. Mari’s bouquet from María Limón included tropical flowers in shades of pink, bold blue, and mauve, while Jan wore an ultramarine blue suit from Indochino that impeccably matched their invitation suite by Tropic of Flowers.
The ceremony took place on the beach at Mía Tulum with the Caribbean Sea as the backdrop, and the reception was held in an open-air patio at Hotel Tiki Tiki decorated with monochrome black marble tables, dishes, and candles that made their vibrant blue menus and bold floral hues pop. It was a stunning celebration of love and creativity that made for an unforgettable experience all around. Captured by our amazing associate and travel lover Gabby!
So excited to have their wedding was featured in The Knot National Magazine!
