Elizabeth and Chen’s wedding at Terrain at Styer’s was a beautiful fall day, with vibrant orange and red blooms by Design by Terrain that perfectly complemented the season.
As soon as I arrived at the Terrain venue, I was struck by the natural beauty of the setting. The bride’s bouquet, which featured a mix of dried and live flowers, was absolutely stunning. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into every aspect of this wedding.
One of my favorite parts of the day was when the couple’s dog joined us for portraits. The husky was impeccably behaved and looked absolutely adorable in his bow tie. It’s always a joy when couples bring their fur-babies, especially since they’re such an important part of the couple’s life.
The ceremony was held outside under a canopy of fall foliage, which provided the perfect backdrop for the couple to exchange their vows. Chen surprised Liz and their guests by serenading her with a beautiful song. It was clear that music is a big part of their relationship, and Chen even wore guitar socks to show off his love of the art.
The reception was warm and cozy, with the couple’s friends and family gathered around to celebrate their union. After the dancing portion of the evening kicked off, Liz changed into a red reception dress as a nod to her Chinese heritage, which added a beautiful pop of color to the festivities.
Overall, it was a joy and an honor to capture Elizabeth and Chen’s special autumn day at Terrain at Styer’s. Their love for each other was palpable, and their attention to detail made every aspect of the wedding a feast for the eyes. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it all, and I wish them nothing but the best in their future together.
