Torey and Anthony’s elegant & modern Spring wedding at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia was as beautiful as it was personal. Their joy and connection were palpable throughout the day, from the intimate moments of getting ready and their first look at Philadelphia’s Merchant Exchange to the exuberant reception at the Ballroom at the Ben.

Getting Ready at the Luxurious Loews Hotel

The morning began at the art deco Loews Hotel, which perfectly fit their black and white color palette. Torey’s hair was styled by The Philly Hair & Makeup Co. in soft, glamorous waves, and makeup by Rita Marie Pinto featured a flawless, natural look with a subtle nude lip, perfectly highlighting her radiant beauty. The elegant simplicity of her dress, with its intricate lace details, set the tone for the day.

Overcoming Rain for a Stunning First Look at Second National Bank

The day took an unexpected turn when rain began to fall just as Torey and Anthony were about to have their first look at Merchants Exchange. Undeterred, we quickly dashed across the street to the Second National Bank, where the large columns provided much-needed coverage. Despite the weather, we were able to capture all the planned outdoor photos, thanks to a quick trip to buy an umbrella for the couple. Torey and Anthony were thankful for the natural light photos we managed to take, despite the rain adding a memorable twist to their special day.

Grand Philadelphia Wedding Venue: The Ballroom at the Ben

The Ballroom at the Ben, with its grandeur and historic charm, served as the perfect backdrop for Torey and Anthony’s wedding. The ornate architecture and opulent decor added a layer of magnificence to the celebration, making it a truly unforgettable venue. House of Catherine added a modern sophistication to the historic backdrop with her custom signage and branding throughout the reception.

Modern & Elegant Spring Wedding with Black & White Color Palette

The bridesmaids wore stunning, ethereal gray dresses, perfectly complementing the lush white floral arrangements by Fabufloras. Spring blossoms of white roses, peonies, and delicate greenery adorned the venue, enhancing its beauty and creating an atmosphere of fresh elegance.

Lively Wedding Reception at The Ballroom at the Ben

The reception was a lively celebration, filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. The Ballroom at the Ben transformed into a scene of festivity and joy, with stunning floral centerpieces and elegant table settings. Custom cocktails, including the “Rollo” and the “Kitty,” their pets added a personal touch. The long banquet tables were elegantly adorned with black linens, crisp white menus, and chic gray napkins, played into the black and white theme. And behind the sweetheart table was a custom sign with their wedding logo of their initials. A sophisticated and modern statement piece!

The grandeur of the venue, combined with the carefully curated details, made for an unforgettable sophisticated and modern Spring wedding!
