Capturing Andrea and Scott’s engagement session against the backdrop of the city’s most iconic landmarks was enchanting. From the serene elegance of the Rodin Museum to the timeless charm of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the romantic glow of sunset at the Water Works, each location added its own unique touch to their photos. Their playful energy and genuine connection shone through every frame.

A Stroll Through the Rodin Museum & The Barnes

Our first stop was the beautiful Rodin Museum, where I captured Andrea & Scott’s joy and connection amidst the serene surroundings. The museum, with its classical Beaux-Arts architecture designed by Paul Cret and Jacques Gréber, is a Philadelphia icon, housing one of the largest collections of Rodin’s works outside of Paris. The elegant French architecture provided a timeless and refined backdrop for their photos. Then, we walked along the symmetrical lines of sycamore trees in front of the Barnes Foundation, feeling as though we were strolling through Paris.

Timeless Moments at the Philadelphia Art Museum

The Philadelphia Art Museum provided a grand setting. The museum’s architecture, a mix of Greek Revival and Beaux-Arts styles, is a testament to the city’s rich cultural heritage and artistic spirit. The iconic steps and stunning views of the city skyline served as the perfect setting for some breathtaking portraits. The museum, with its stately columns and historic charm, is a great way to imbue your engagement photos with a timeless elegance.

Sunset at Water Works

The Water Works is one of the best locations to capture the sunset in Philadelphia. With its neoclassical architecture and riverside views, the Water Works offers a picturesque and tranquil end to the day. The golden light added a romantic glow to their images, and their dog joined in for some heartwarming shots, making the session even more special. An engagement session is always a great way to include your fur baby in photos.

Looking Forward to a Parque Wedding

Andrea and Scott are planning a summer wedding that goes beyond the typical park setting. Nestled within Ridley Creek State Park, their celebration will take place at Parque, a stunning stone mansion surrounded by lush gardens, a tranquil reflecting pond, and an elegant fountain. The timeless charm of this venue perfectly complements Andrea and Scott’s sophisticated style.

This engagement session was a delightful glimpse into the elegance and joy that will undoubtedly fill their wedding day. The blend of Philadelphia’s historic charm and Andrea and Scott’s genuine connection resulted in one of my favorite timeless engagement sessions. I am looking forward to capturing more beautiful moments on their special day at Parque Ridley Creek.
